This website is a gaming platform designed to blend education with entertainment, aiming to disseminate the spirit of Chinese democracy. We hope that as visitors play these games, they will come to recognize both the urgency and the formidable challenges involved in China’s democratization process, and be inspired to contribute their own efforts toward this cause.
Why is China’s democratization so urgent? As China becomes deeply embedded within the global economic landscape, it has become inextricably linked with the rest of the world. It is only through democratization—only when you begin to treat your own people with dignity and respect—that the rest of the world will finally treat you with dignity and respect in return!
Over the past few decades, China has capitalized on a “low-human-rights advantage”—specifically, the ability to suppress labor costs—to wage aggressive price wars in both domestic and international trade. The CCP and Xi Jinping constantly pay lip service to achieving the “Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation”; yet, if they persist on this path, the only outcome they are likely to achieve is the “Great Demise of the Chinese Nation”!
While I was researching material for this website—scouring the internet for information on political prisoners and social movements dedicated to the service of nation and people—I came to a realization: China does not, in fact, lack citizens with the courage to resist or the willingness to make sacrifices; nor does it lack the theoretical frameworks to guide them. What it truly lacks is the conscience of those in power. Had China’s current rulers possessed even a shred of the cultural values that were once commonplace in ancient China—such as Ren, Yi, Li, Zhi, Xin (benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and integrity), Wen, Liang, Gong, Jian, Rang (gentleness, kindness, respectfulness, frugality, and humility),etc. They would surely have “raised their gun barrels an inch higher.” Regrettably, however, China’s current rulers—who idolize Communist ideology—have completely cast aside the virtues and moral standards cherished throughout history, both in China and the West. The only thing they truly worship is brute force and bloodshed!
When a nation’s political system undergoes a transition, modern civilized societies—aside from the rare instances of foreign invasion or armed insurrection—tend to favor and more readily accept the path of “peaceful evolution.” Examples include Mikhail Gorbachev of the former Soviet Union announcing reforms to establish a presidential system; Chiang Ching-kuo of Taiwan lifting the ban on political parties; or Francisco Franco of Spain, who, on his deathbed, held a national referendum to determine the country’s future political structure (resulting in a constitutional monarchy). Gorbachev, Chiang Ching-kuo, and Franco were all rulers possessed of a conscience; consequently, they were able to guide their respective nations through a peaceful transition.
If China is to undergo change today, it seems the only remaining hope—much like in the cases of the former Soviet Union, Taiwan, and Spain—lies in the emergence of a conscientious leader. Foreign invasion is, for all intents and purposes, an impossibility in the modern era; as for armed insurrection, it is precisely the threat against which the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) currently maintains its most vigilant and impenetrable defenses. Given the ever-advancing sophistication of the current dictator’s “stability maintenance” technologies, any nascent spark of rebellion would be instantly extinguished; how, then, could it ever hope to ignite into a prairie fire?
Therefore, I, the author, make this plea to the leaders of the CCP: if you still harbor even a shred of love for China and for the Chinese nation, then I implore you—abandon your dictatorship and lift the ban on political parties immediately!
The method is simple: cast aside your so-called pride, reach out to Taiwan, and submit to its authority!
Taiwan—officially known as the Republic of China—has, since Chiang Ching-kuo lifted the ban on political parties, evolved into a global exemplar of democracy—achieving milestones in many respects that even the nations of Europe and the West have yet to attain.
Therefore, if you genuinely desire unification with Taiwan, there remains but one viable path: submission to Taiwan. As for the CCP leadership, should you fear retribution or reckoning at the hands of the Chinese people, you could—at the time of submission—petition the Taiwan government to attach specific conditions, such as “immunity” or a “smooth transition.” I am confident that, given the renown and prestige of the Taiwan (Republic of China) government within China, it would be fully capable of curbing any acts of vengeance by the broad masses of Chinese people—whose hearts are already seething with rage. Consequently, chaotic upheavals—such as looting, arson, riots, uprisings, rebellions, or the fragmentation of power among warlords—would be rendered virtually impossible. Furthermore, the separatist forces that have long been brewing in various regions would, thanks to the intervention of the Taiwan government, gradually subside and ultimately be resolved peacefully, rather than spiraling out of control.
To submit is not a shameful act. Indeed, throughout the annals of Chinese history, there are numerous precedents of such submission.
Therefore, I—the author—hereby issue a fervent appeal to the Chinese Communist Party government: I implore you to emulate Gorbachev, Chiang Ching-kuo, Franco, and the sages of ancient China; surrender to Taiwan, and thereby realize the true rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. That—and that alone—would constitute a deed of truly immeasurable merit!
